Minda Poncho
How about a sharp, contemporary poncho to wear to work or out to lunch with your friends? This design features rows of tall, linked stitches that form a solid fabric with a striped look and beautiful drape. Finished with a few rows of openwork and beads. Very professional!
Intermediate skill level
One size fits an adult woman medium to medium-large size loosely. Blocking is required because the linked stitch used tends to curl.
Approximate size when lying flat and blocked: finished poncho 38.5 inches wide by 35 inches long, neck opening 11 inches.
I used 7 balls of Cascade Yarns 220 Superwash yarn in color 873 Extra Creme Cafe
44 - 8mm round large-hole beads are optional. The pattern includes Bead-As-You-Go instructions and pictures.
