Mindfulness Mitts
This pattern hasn’t been tested yet! The first person to finish this pattern and come to get me with any comments will get a free copy of one of my paid for patterns!
When a customer asked me to design these mitts for her, I was in the middle of the Self Care Craft Along (CAL) on the blog. I found that the stocking stitch element was very helpful for mindfulness techniques as I was able to ground myself in stressful situations and so the Mindfulness Mitts were born!
These mitts are made one at a time using the magic loop method but you can use any method you prefer. I’ve used the thumb gusset technique so you’ll need a stitch holder or scrap yarn for the thumb stitches. I’ve also put some notes about how to use the Two At A Time (TAAT) method.
The great thing about these mitts is that they can easily be adjusted for size. I would recommend going up or down 2 stitches per cm difference in size. Please note, any adjustments in size will affect the amount of yarn used.
