If you’ve visited the coast recently you have probably seen sneaky seagulls stealing food from unsuspecting tourists, swooping down to snatch a french fry or sandwich. They are brazen but so funny to watch. Every time I watch them I think of the iconic scene from Disney’s Finding Nemo, with the seagulls calling out, ‘Mine! Mine!’

This cowl is made with sock/fingering weight yarn and knit in the round.

A provisional cast on edge is used for grafting at the end to create a seamless cowl.

Yarn: Allison Barnes Yarn Basic Sock fingering yarn, Chin Hairs (light grey) and Granite (dark grey). Mini Skein of Yellow (optional) 75 yds/20g

Needles: US3 (3.25 mm) dpns or 16 inch (40 cm) circular needles for preferred method of knitting, or size needed to obtain gauge
