Minerva Cardigan
The Minervacardigan is a simple yet elegant vintageinspired cardigan with a timeless feel. It is knit from the bottom up in stockinette stitch, has a simple raglansleeve decrease, and feminine puff sleeves. A cardigan for all occasions!
Needles: 3,5mm & 4mm
Yarn option: Fabel Knitwear Ask
Yarn option : Pickles Pure Wool
Size: (XS) S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL) 4XL
Bust: approx. (80cm) 90cm (100cm) 108cm (118cm) 127cm (132cm) 146cm
Note that this pattern has no intended ease across the bust and is meant to fit just so. I would recommend somewhere between -4 to +4 cm of ease, depending on how you like your cardigans to fit, but it is not intended to be oversized. It should be snug across the body.
Quantity Pure Wool: (200g) 200g (200g) 300g (300g) 400g (400g) 400g
Quantity Ask: (200g) 250g (300g) 300g (350g) 400g 400g 450g
Gauge: 20 = 10cm
NOTE ON AVAILABLE SIZES - if you want to knit this, or any of my patterns, in a larger size than I currently have published, please get in touch! The only reason it is not available in larger sizes is I couldn’t get testknitters for those sizes, and I don’t want anyone to pay for a pattern and knit a size thats not been tested. So if you would like to (test)knit this - or any of my patterns! - in a larger size than is currently available, drop me a message and I’ll send you the pattern for free!
NOTE ON JKR and Harry Potter: As this pattern is named after the Harry Potter universe, I have to make it clear that I support trans rights. I do NOT agree with JKRs violent views.
As a result of this I will no longer be taking any inspiration from her work.
