Minerva Tee
The Minerva Tee is a super comfy, oversized high-low style tee that can be cropped or made to be any length you choose! It has a simple yet gorgeous lace design on the sleeves and a beautiful colorwork design around the bottom half of the tee that speaks all the Boho vibes!
This is the first design in a series that I have dedicated to the Goddesses of Mythology.
Minerva was the goddess of wisdom, handicrafts, and art, so what better way to start a knitting design collection than with Minerva, right!?
About the pattern:
Minerva is worked from the top-down with raglan increases separating the body stitches from the gorgeous, lacy sleeve stitches. The Tee is worked continuously in the round, putting sleeve stitches on hold once they have reached the proper length. After splitting the sleeves and body, you will work short rows to add some extra length to the back.
Then comes the fun part…colorwork! I thought it would be fun to throw a curveball in there and have the best part of the pattern be worked toward the end so that you have something to look forward to!
After the colorwork is finished, you will work a few more short rows on the back side to shape the curve for the back hem. Once your curve is formed, you will work the back and front hems separately, forming a cute, hi-low split hem that is sure to make a statement! All edges are worked in a stylish I-Cord bind off that gives this Tee just the right amount of sharpness, making it modern with a classic feel!
