- Yarn of your choice (I used 2-3 weight wool/acrylic blends in 4 colours)
- Crochet hook to suit your yarn (I used 3mm)
- Smaller crochet hook (optional - I used 2.5mm)
- Darning/sewing needle
- Scissors
- Stuffing
- Stitch marker (optional)
- Measuring tape (optional)

- Slip knot onto hook
- Making a magic ring (MR)
- Making a chain/chain stitch (Ch.)
- Single crochet (SC)
- Single crochet decrease (SC dec.)
- Half double crochet (HDC)
- Double crochet (DC)
- Slip stitch (Sl. st.)
- Simple hand sewing techniques
- Weaving in ends
