The finished duck when worked in 4ply yarn, will measure approximately 12cm high and 11cm beak to tail. This will of course vary with weights of yarn and hook/tension. For a larger bird work in double knit, aran or chunky.

This pattern is easy to follow but does require basic crochet knowledge of single and double crochet and the ability to work a magic ring. Everything is easily learnt from Youtube if you are not 100% sure. It is written in US terms but easily converted to UK terms.
