Knitting Pattern:
The work is worked in stockinette stitch, in rows and with a knotted edge. There are two colour changes. The cuffs are worked in double rib pattern and in rounds. The bee pattern is embroidered on afterwards in the jacquard embroidery technique. We start at the forehead and knit a rectangle, this forms the cover that rests on our head. Stitches are picked up on two sides of this. The back of the head is worked by decreases in two places. For the neck cuff, first cast on stitches and close the work to form a round. The work is cast off flexibly. The stitches for the face cuff are picked up along the face neckline and simply cast off. Finally, the bees are embroidered on.
