The perfect Christmas pudding may take months to mature, but thankfully these little festive beauties can be made on a snowy evening or chill afternoon in front of the tv.

The materials required are listed below. The yarn used to make them as pictured was Drops Safran (cotton) yarn in brown, white and green with some red sequins to create the berries.

You can mix up the colours, add some glitter, add some stitched decoration – whatever suits your mood.

Sports Weight Yarn (briwn, white and green)
2.5mm crochet hook
Stitch markers and pins
Yarn needle
Stuffing
Sequins or beads (optional, to create the berries)

Stitch Knowledge Required:

Sc = Single crochet
Slip st = Slip stitch
BLO = Back loops only
FLO = Front loops only
Invdec = invisible decrease
Sc2tog = single crochet decrease
** = a repeating stitch pattern

The completed piece measures approx. 6 cm tall.
