This pattern is intended for Beginners. You should know how to work a Magic Ring, basic stitches, and how to sew pieces together. This pattern is written using American terms. This pattern is worked in continuous rounds unless otherwise specified. Finished size depends on personal tension, yarn and hook size. For this project I used worsted weight yarn, a 3mm hook, and my finished Alien is approx 2 in tall. I also include instruction for a Chonky version using Blanket Yarn and an 8mm hook and it’s approx 12 in tall. You can use any yarn weight and hook you would like; it will just make the Alien bigger or smaller.

MR - Magic Ring
Ch - Chain
Ss - Slip Stitch
St- Stitch
Sc - Single Crochet
Dc - Double Crochet
Trp - Triple Crochet
Inc - Increase (Used for Single Crochet, unless specified)
Dec -Invisible decrease (Used for Single Crochet, unless specified)
Fo - Fasten Off with a Slip Stitch

Size 3mm or 8mm Crochet Hook (for Mini and Chonky Alien respectively)

Green Worsted Weight Yarn (for Alien)
