Mini Cooper the Turtle
Meet Mini Cooper the Turtle. Those fancy stripes on his shell may not make him any faster, but they look cool anyway!
He can be made in any yarn and hook combination you want. Just be certain that the fabric is firm enough that stuffing does not show through.
My Mini Cooper is made in Vanna’s Choice Solids using four different colors:
- Toffee (30 yards)
- Sweet Pea (less than 10 yards)
- Fern (less than 10 yards)
- Kelly Green (less than 10 yards)
Mini Cooper is an intermediate-level pattern. Skills you will need include single crochet, double crochet, half-double crochet, increases, decreases, color changes, embroidering eyes using yarn and some seaming.
The pattern includes plenty of progress photos to help you along your way to making your tiny turtle.
Looking for something a little bigger and cuddlier? Be sure to check out his big brother Cooper the Turtle.
