This is a really quick to do project that I came up with to decorate and hold some Creme Eggs for Easter (other chocolate mini eggs will fit too!). The size I made fits Cadbury eggs nicely but other eggs will fit as there is some stretch in the fabric and it should be easy to add an extra increase round to make it bigger.

It’s a great use for small amounts of scrap yarn - go for a natural cream colour or a make some bright and colourful eggs.

I used chunky yarn and a 4.5mm hook to get my fit but use whatever hook/yarn combo gets you the size you need to fit your egg, testing as you go.
