This pattern has come together during the last few weeks, as I was so inspired by the gorgeous Birth Stones Mini Skeins club 2025
The blanket is made with 12 sections, one section for each month in the Mini Skein Club.

As there has been a lot of interest from people who wish to keep up with the Birth Stones Mini Skein Club, this pattern will be “pre-released”. That is, released before the final sample and all photos are completed. For this first release, the 5 first setions are included.
I have made a few complete swatches/tiny samples. But the pattern has not gone through the final edits. I will be updating the pattern with the rest of the sections as I complete the rest of the sample.

When the pattern is completely finished (all the pictures, final edits, proofreading) the price will go up. No extra cost for you who bought it in the pre-publishing period.

My knitting philosophy is that each knitter should decide how to use their knitting time to create a knitted piece that suits their own purpose. This is why, when I design my patterns, I allow room for changes and personal modifications. Choose your own colour and yarn, and knit the blanket as large or as small as you like.

Colours
The Mini Fade Blanket is designed to let the minis from the Birth Stones Mini Skein Club 2025 shine. This design enables you to finish every mini skein while creating a unique design with beautiful drape
The 5 mini skeins for each month are knit into one section. Every section, from Section 2, will be joined to one or two previous sections.
If you prefer, each section can be bound off as usual, and sewn together with previos sections.

The Mini Fade Blanket is the perfect stash buster. Use all the pretty mini skeins and/or the small leftovers, and play with all the colours.

Each section can be knit as large or small as you like, to the gauge that suits the yarn you use.
