The finished bags are about 4 inches square. There are charts for five different motifs for the front of the bag: the moose, the star, the heart, the tree and the ladybug. Each motif requires about 5 yards of yarn, and you can make 4 of the bags with one 4 oz skein of wool. Just make sure you use pure wool for your felting project, not any of the superwash wools!

My intention was to create a bag that could be made in approximately 1 hour (not including felting time). That is why the strap is a crocheted chain, rather than knitted I-cord. On purchasing this pattern, you have my permission to make these bags for your own use or for gifts.
