Mini Fleur Fingerless Mitts
PATTERN DESCRIPTION
Springtime for me is full of hope and renewal. My mood lightenes dramatically and I begin to feel inspiration once again in everything I do, but especially knitting. I enjoy working in my flower gardens and I have a plant I particularly love with beautiful green leaves and bright, happy yellow flowers called Dasiphora. This time of year the horse pasture is also filled with beautiful buttercups and it brings a smile to my face walking through them. I designed these mitts with hopes that as I wear them through the cold months it will remind me of this time of the year, a time I truly love for the happiness it brings me.
Skills - Intermediate
channel island cast on, knit, purl, increasing (thumb gusset), knitting in the round, stranded colorwork (3 colors at a time), crochet tecniques such as crab stitch, chaining, and slip stitch.
This pattern includes a video I produced showing how to work the special tecniques for these mitts.
