Finished size is a bit under 3 inches square, after stuffing. Marginally smaller if you just do one shape or if you leave him unstuffed.

He uses oddments of DK yarn - at least 2 colours recommended.

If you’re up for knitting several of these, you could easily add a hanging loop to the head and use ‘em as Christmas tree ornaments! But they are equally good just as tiny toys or story-telling props… “Run, run, as fast as you can, you can’t catch me, I’m the Gingerbread Man!” :D
