⚠ Please note: This listing is for a digital crochet pattern download only, not a physical toy. It is written in English only, using US terminology. If you would prefer UK terminology, please let me know and I can provide this. The pattern will be available to download immediately after purchase. It has been independently tested, and contains detailed instructions with high quality photos. ⚠

ABOUT THE PATTERN

The pattern uses turning rows to create the body, with puff stitch for the hands and feet. This is then crocheted together to form the desired shape. A small amount of embroidery is needed for the face, and the only sewing required is to attach the stalk. I’ve provided options for either safety eyes or embroidered eyes. Using DK yarn and a 2.5mm hook, Eggy Pumpkin reaches a height of approximately 6.5cm. I’d love to see your completed projects; feel free to share them by tagging me on Instagram @dreamweave.creations or visiting my Facebook page, DreamWeave Creations.

SKILL LEVEL

I have assigned a beginner skill level to this pattern. While the majority of it involves simple stitches, crocheting the stalk can be a little fiddly. There is also a little embroidery required for the face. You must be familiar with reading patterns and understanding the abbreviations and terminology.

MATERIALS NEEDED

Chosen yarn in desired colours. The following yarns in DK weight have been used in the pattern:
Orange for body
Green for the stalk
Small amount of black embroidery thread or yarn for embroidering mouth and nose (and eyes if opting for embroidered eyes) - I used 3-6 strands of embroidery thread
8-10mm safety eyes if not opting for embroidered eyes
Toy stuffing
2.5mm crochet hook
Scissors
Pins
Stitch markers
Tapestry needle
Optional keychain

Feel free to explore variations by swapping out yarn and hook sizes to achieve a different outcome, and get creative with experimenting with various colours.
