If like me, you can’t keep a house plant alive
then this is the perfect crochet pattern for you
as plants made from yarn don’t require much
space, time, or water. Brighten up a corner of
your room or office, or make a quick, easy
housewarming gift for a friend. This pattern
requires basic crochet skills and minimal
sewing required. Pattern is in UK crochet terms.
Pots and Soil are made in spiral rounds. The
plant it’s self is about 5cm, size may vary slightly
depending on yarn/ hook size/ tension etc. You
are free to share/ sell finished products from

Things you will need:
Yarn- DK yarn, you will need green for the leaves, brown for the soil and a colour for the
pot.
Hook- 3.5mm, hook size will vary depending on the yarn you choose to use.
Stitch markers- I would recommend at least 2 to help you keep track of the rounds as
this pattern is worked in continuous rounds.
Stuffing- you will need a small amount for the pot.

Abbreviations:
MR- Magic Ring
DC- Double Crochet (UK term, this is equivalent to a US single crochet)
INC- Increase (2 crochets worked into one stitch)
DEC- Decrease (crochet 2 stitches together
BLO- Back loop only
