Enjoy the magic of helix knitting in this vest with jogless, single-row stripes in three colors. The mini helix vest uses a main color and smaller amounts of 2 additional colors to create a colorful, warm vest for children ages 6 mos to 2 yrs old. All sizes are knit using 104 sts. The 3 sizes are created by changing gauge (yarn weight and needle size). If knitting for a charity group, slight gauge variations are quite acceptable. The smallest size is listed first; additional size information is in parentheses. The vest is knit from the bottom-up in the round on circular needles until it is divided at the armholes. The garter stitch yokes are knit flat with slight armhole shaping for a warm fit. The front yoke features a square neckline. Front and back yokes are joined with a 3-needle bind off. There are no seams to sew and no stitches to pick up.
