A very quick pattern to make mini square ornaments, designed as a fundraiser for our school to raise postage money to send squares to Knit A Square in South Africa. Lovely in solids or variegated yarns, we are making them in red as it symbolizes AIDS awareness.

It is estimated that there are 11.6 million orphans in sub-saharan Africa. 1.4 million live in South Africa. Knit-a-square invites you to join our warm and friendly KAS community. Together we work hard to help warm and comfort these children and we would greatly value your contribution to this knitting project for the AIDS orphans of southern Africa.
