Read the history of Krampus here!

Based on the legend of Krampus, a goat-man who travels with St. Nicholas and who punishes naughty children, Mini-Krampus is an Amigurumi creature meant to sit on your holiday tree or on a shelf. This little doll is supposedly a spy for Krampus, and will scamper off to tell on naughty children so that they will be punished accordingly.

This doll has small pieces and sharp bits that are not appropriate for small children without alteration. It requires a basic knowledge of amigurumi crochet techniques such as chains, single and double crochet, crocheting in the round to form 3-D shapes, and sewing parts together. Mini-Krampus is made using safety eyes from Suncatchereyes.com, as well as having felt and roving attached with applique and needle felting techniques. He takes very little yarn, so he is a great user of scraps.
