Following the wonderfully successful beginner book, Knit How, and our pullover and sock compendiums, Ready Set Raglan and Ready Set Socks, we thought it was about time we let kids in on the action too!
A collection of 11 versatile knitting and crochet patterns for kids aged 0-10, Mini Pom reimagines classic grown-up patterns from the archives of Pom Pom for our tiny friends, as well as some just-for-kids designs, all in the fun and modern style we’re known for.
Sizes: 1 (2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9)
To fit: 0-3 mths (3-6 mths, 6-12 mths, 12-18 mths, 1-2 yrs,
2-4 yrs, 4-6 yrs, 6-8 yrs, 8-10 yrs)

Yarn: approximately 491 (527, 548, 584, 621, 658, 694,
746, 783)m / 537 (577, 600, 640, 680, 720, 760, 817, 857)yds of DK-weight yarn.

Wandering Flock DK Merino (DK-weight; 100% superwash Merino wool; 211m / 231yds per 100g skein)
Shade: Electric Orchid; 3 (3, 3, 3, 3, 4, 4, 4, 4) skeins
Gauge: 23 sts & 32 rows = 10cm / 4” in reverse St st using 3.75mm needles, after blocking.
Each flower motif measures 4.5cm / 13⁄4” wide & 21⁄2 cm / 1” tall using 3.75mm needles.
Needles: 3.75mm / US 5 circular needle, 60cm / 24” length AND needles suitable for working small circumferences in the round.

Notes: In a nod to the original pattern, (cropped cardigan with short sleeves) the body of this Lobelia is full length but the sleeves are bracelet length, finishing between 2.5cm and 5cm short of full length.
