The mini manatee pattern is a quick make that requires very little sewing and sells out at markets! Made with blanket yarn, this cutie is super soft and plush. Pattern can be adapted to use Premier Parfait Chunky or Premier Just Chenille double stranded (see daisy version photo) or other chunky weight yarn (adjust your hook size as needed). If made with worsted weight or chenille yarn I suggest double stranding. Worsted weight will be smaller (see mushroom version photo). Please note, however, that the pattern was specifically written for use with blanket yarn and as such will have best results with it.

This is an advanced beginner pattern and requires basic amigurumi skills. Pattern is written in US terminology. As an added bonus, there are variation instructions to make your manatee rainbow or watermelon too!

Skills required: Crocheting in spiral, magic ring, chain, slip stitch, single crochet stitch, increasing and invisible decreasing, basic sewing skills
