The Winged Heart is the first tile in the Mini Milagros Series. Milagros are depictions of different icons that are typically crafted in silver and added to prayer candles and pictures for extra devotions. Milagros have been an inherent part of my culture and childhood, and I still wear some as charms!

This pattern is created using overlay mosaic crochet techniques. If you already know the overlay mosaic technique, this is considered a beginner pattern.
Pattern Specifics:

• Beginner level: No special stitches, marked graphs and written row by row directions
• 28 stitches by 23 rows
• Large graph marked with Xs and in light blue and red
• Approximately 50 yards each of 2 yarns
• Finished size estimation: 6.5” x 10.5”
• Yardage and finished size are dependent on the size hook and yarn you use, as well as your tension.
• As described in the pattern key within the file, this pattern uses the abbreviation DS to stand for: (dc, sc).
• Though you cannot resell this pattern, you can sell any projects you make using the pattern.
• Pictured Project Stats: Yarn Used Design color: Caron Simply Soft Sparkle in Fuschia Sparkle Background Color: Caron Simply Soft Sparkle in Black Sparkle Hook Used: 3.5mm I also used the negative stitch and a little looser tension than typical.
