Seamless booties, knitted cuff down in the round and grafted together at the center of the sole (instructions included.) Choice of cuff style -- either plain or to match the “Short Stack” baby hat (available as a separate pattern) -- and either satin ribbon or simple crocheted ties threaded through the eyelets to hold the booties on the feet.

Note: This pattern originally listed Wendy Peter Pan Double Knit, but it is no longer available in the US. The Berroco Comfort DK makes a fine substitute.

And any fingering-weight or sport-weight yarn with the same gauge could be used.
