When we yarnbombed Bushbury Nursery we made mini owl toys for the each of the children at the nursery (and the staff!) as a thank you for allowing us to use the nursery’s prominent location in Bushbury to yarnbomb with maximum impact in our community.

It took a lot of searching to find a pattern that would allow most of our group members to get their teeth into as some of them are newbies to crochet others are more confident. I looked all over the place to find something and came across the Calypso The Kooky Owl pattern by Sharon Maher on Ravelry. I used this pattern as a base to create something similar.
