These mini plumeria flowers are designed to be small enough for jewelry and accessories. Get started today with this instant download!

This comprehensive tutorial shows you how to make the basic Plumeria flower and also offers 5 additional sizes & shapes so you can make a cluster that has a variety of little blooms.

The one piece construction is quick & relatively easy with basic crochet skills (prerequisite skills for the basic plumeria flower: chain, slip stitch, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, half triple crochet, triple crochet & double triple crochet). There’s even info on how to dye them with things you probably have in your kitchen!

Included is a condensed text-only excerpt of just the written instructions from the photo-heavy plumeria tutorial. Just a couple of pages and no photos saves ink! The numbered steps correspond to the photos of the tutorial which you can view on your favorite device if you prefer not to print the full tutorial.

You will also receive a tutorial for the leaves I use with these flowers. The leaves are more difficult than the flowers; they use some novel techniques that are appropriate for intermediate to advanced crocheters. But they are really well suited to pair with these flowers and since I am always asked how to make them I’ve decided to include it. Of course you can substitute you own favorite leaves if you prefer.

English language and US crochet terms only.

Materials:
A smooth tightly wound cotton crochet thread & appropriately sized hook.
Recommended: Size 10 thread & 1.75mm hook OR Size 20 thread & 1.5mm hook OR Size 30 thread & 1.25mm hook.

Made with fairly tight tension, the larger variations made with size 30 thread are about 1” when fully open. With size 20 thread they are about 1.25 and with size 10 thread are approx 1.5” across.

Patons Grace cotton yarn & a 2.25 mm to 2.75mm hook also works well if you would like a larger flower (2.25” - 2.5”) for home decor or as an applique.
