About Mini Rumi Cardigan

Pattern uses super bulky yarn to create a modern oversize cardigan that’ll keep your little ones warm and cozy.

Size
Rumi Cardigan is intended to be worn with a positive ease of 5-6 inches (12-15cm). If you’d like a more standard fit, choose a size with 2-4 inches (5-10 cm)of positive ease. For example, if chest measures 24 inches (60 cm), you’ll choose the 2-3 years size for a standard fit or the 4-6 years for an oversize fit.

• 2-3 years: Finished Chest Circumference = 27 inches (68 cm)
• 4-6 years: Finished Chest Circumference = 29 inches (73.5 cm)
• 8-10 years: Finished Chest Circumference = 32 inches (81 cm)
• 10-12 years Finished Chest Circumference = 35.5 inches (90 cm)
• 14-16 years: Finished Chest Circumference = 38 inches (96.5 cm)

Pattern includes german short rows that help raise the neck and shoulders for a better fit. These are optional but highly recommended.

Preferred yarn: Malabrigo Rasta 90yd/150g. You’ll need 225 (270, 360, 405, 450) yards.
