My bard gnome have find a sling during a battle against the fish-men on Dungeon and Dragon role-playing game, so i knit him a sling.
My knitting skill are poor as it is only one week that i knitt so don’t hesitate to comment the pattern.

Materiel:
5 mm double pointed needle and a tapestry needle.
Brown and black yarn of the size of the needle.

Pattern:

1. Cast 4 stitches and knit an i-cord of 20 cm (or size that you want) with the brown yarn (actually color doesn’t matter, choose what you want).
2. Change color of yarn and knit the 4 stitches during 2 row (not i-cord).
3. K2, M1, K2
4. K5
5. Knit and do 2 increases, one from 2 stiches of each border.
6. Knit all stitches.
7. Repeat 5 and 6 until having 15 stitches.
8. K15 during 5 rows.
9. Knit and do 2 decreases, one from 2 stiches of each border.
10. Knit all stitches
11. Repeat 9 and 10 until 5 stiches
12. K5
13. K2, K2tog, K1
14. K4 during 2 rows
15. Take back the first yarn color and knit i-cord during 20 cm (or length you want)
16. Separate equitably the stitches in two needles. Make a loop with the i-cord in a way that the icord go and stay in the middle of the stitches separation. Put back the four stitches in the same needle and knit an i-cord during 2 rows to close the loop. The size of the loop depend of the size of your finger.
