Cute little chickens in Star Fleet uniforms. Make great keyrings with DK/worsted and 3mm hooks. Or easily size them up with thicker yarn and bigger hooks for a larger plush toy.

Beginner friendly and low sew; just attaching yarn for surface crochet, adding the eyes and the comm badge/insignia. They work up in a few hours.

You’ll need embroidery floss in gold (or dark yellow) and silver (or pale grey) for the comm badge. Yarn colours are based on the Star Fleet uniforms (red, gold, and blue), and whatever colour you want for the chicken’s body (brown, yellow, green, blue…). Black for the eyes, unless you have a character with a specific eye colour, like Data and Lore, or Hemmer.
