Mini Stocking
This sweet little stocking is the perfect size to hold a gift card. Knit one to give a gift in, or lots to make a garland. They would also make lovely ornaments to go on the tree.
They are a great stashbusting project, using such a small amount of yarn.
Finished Measurements:
Approximately 7” tall (including loop) and 2.75” across
Materials:
US Size 6 (4mm) DPNs
Knit Picks Wool of the Andes Worsted- C1: White, C2: Firecracker Heather, C3: Forest Heather; one ball each
Yarn needle
Gauge:
24 sts and 32 rnds = 4 inches in stockinette st
Notes:
The stocking is worked in the round from the cuff to the toe. An I-Cord loop is then worked and sewn on.
There are three options for the body of the stocking. All three start out with the same cuff. After working the cuff, choose the directions for the Three Color Striped Version, Two Color Striped Version or Solid Color Version. The toe is then worked and is the same for all three versions.
