Mini Technicolor Dream Coat
Please note this listing is for a digital pdf of instructions and not a physical item
This is the kid’s version of the Technicolor Dream Coat! Shown in the images is the kid’s version next to the adult’s version for comparison. Full of textural stitches and beautiful color, this is bound to make your little one beam with joy! This would make a stunning gift, and is sure to be a favorite clothing item! This pattern is nearly 50pgs, and this listing includes two pdfs, one for children’s sizes ranging from 3T to 7Y, and another pdf for children’s sizes 8Y to 13Y.
Each pdf is full of colorful photos, helpful notes, and sizing charts to make working through this pattern fun!
Materials:
You can use any worsted weight yarn for this pattern. I personally chose to work with Knit Pick’s Brava yarn. This pattern is a fantastic stash buster, so you are free to use up any odds and ends that you have! For ease, I have included the exact colors that I have used throughout this pattern, and each color change has the name of the next color used in the pattern. You absolutely do not have to follow this color scheme, but it is included for reference.
Yarns - Knit Pick’s Brava Worsted Weight:
Lady Slipper, Fairy Tale, Freesia, Mulberry, Celestial, Cornflower, Tranquil, Marina, Grass, Alfalfa, Avocado, Custard, Canary, Caution, Orange, Coral, Paprika, Red, Wine
Hook:
H/ 5.00mm
I was able to complete two coats with the yarn above, and I had plenty of leftover. If I wanted to make another one or two coats (depending on size), I would need another skein of Red and Mulberry.
