Being a completely Harry Potter crazy family I have made multiple versions of the Weasley Sweater over the years for my son.

This year I said no more as he is into adult sized clothing but we didn’t want to totally miss out on our little bit of Harry Potter christmas infulence.

These adorable little Weasley Sweater hanging decorations just add that little bit of geek to our christmas tree and I absolutely adore each and every one that I have made this year.

Using just scraps of yarn in 2 colours for each sweater they are fast to make up and will be hanging on your tree in no time.

This pattern is beginner friendly and uses only Cast on (any cast on you would like), knit stitch, purl stitch and Bind off.

Created in one piece you will start at the bottom of one side work up and over the sleeves and neck before working down the other side. The initial is sewn on using duplicate stitch after the original sweater has been created.

gauge is not important for this project but using different weight yarn and needle size from the project will result in a different sized finished object.
