Mini Witch Hats work up quickly and look super cute as Halloween decorations. You could make a 13-day advent calendar to count down to Halloween with your kids, or you could make a mini witch hat bunting, or you could make a few to sit on the mantle or you could make one and have a witchy photoshoot with your cat. (Hey, I don’t judge)

Each hat is about 20 yards of yarn. The yardage given here is for making 13 hats for an advent calendar. I used one skein for each of the three colors: green, purple, and black.

For the advent calendar, you will also need puffy paint and size 16 mm buttons, plus a little treat to put in each hat (i.e. candy, stickers, temporary tattoos, etc).
