miniature angel reclining
This is for a PDF PATTERN only and not the finished item - this you will make yourself! It contains illustrations for the trickier parts of making the angel.
Patterns are emailed to you in pdf format. You will need Adobe Reader, to open it, and if you don’t already have this on your computer, it can easily be downloaded free from www.adobe.com.
This 5 page pattern contains lots of detailed instructions and pictures.
You will need some crochet skill for this angel / fairy but with some experience you should find her quite easy to make. However, due to the small size, she can be tricky and fiddly in places. Please do not buy the pattern if you are not prepared to tackle a project on this tiny scale.
You should know how to crochet spiral rounds. You will need to be able to do hdc, dc and tr for the wings, or look up how to do these stitches on the internet.
The pattern uses USA crochet terms as these are most widely used and understood.
If you use the recommended yarn and hook size, this tiny figure will come out at just 0.7 inches (4.6 cm) high, not including her upper wing which if included would take her to 1 inch (2.7 cm). She is 2 inches or 5cm long.
If you prefer, you could add a safety pin to her back and make her into a brooch for your coat / dress pin her to your bag.
