The pattern is meant for beginner/intermediate knitters or knitters with previous experience knitting tiny animals in the round. It uses some extremely simple color changing. When you are making the main body, I suggest carrying both yarns together to prevent pulling and misshaping the koala’s body.

This pattern uses three colors: grey, white, and black, but uses very little actual yarn. It can easily be knitted with leftover scraps, so if you feel like having a green koala--go for it!
