This adorable miniature version of the Minerva Lace Pullover pattern can be made as a decoration/ornament for your tree, or a few can be strung together for a festive garland. Additional patterns for an alternate miniature sweater (simpler and faster to make), scarf, and hat begin on page 14. These make a very cute gift, can be attached to a present, or used as an ornament or made into a garland. Have fun!

The finished Minerva sweater is 6 cm/2.25 in wide in the body (not counting sleeves), 8.5 cm/ 3 ⅜ in long .

Aunt Lydia’s Crochet Thread, size 10, in red, green, and white
100% cotton
Optional (for collar): Sugar Bush “Drizzle” Fingering, Rain Cloud
76% kid mohair, 24% silk

Yarn amounts required:
The Red Minerva sweater used 7 grams of cotton thread and 27.5 m/30.1 y;
the optional collar used 1 gram of “Drizzle” and 8 m/8.75 y.
The green sweater used 7 grams of cotton thread and 27.5 m/30.1 y;
The snowflake applique uses less than 1 gram of cotton thread and 4 m/4.4 y;
The scarf used 2 grams of red (8.1 m/8.9 y) and 1 gram of white (4.05 m/ 4.45 y);
The hat used 3 grams of red 12 m/13.2 y.

Hook
3 mm (US C-2) or size required to meet the desired gauge

Gauge
Using a 3mm hook (US C-2) and crochet cotton (size 10), the finished sweater is 6.5 cm/2.5 in wide in the body, 9 cm/ 3.5 in long (not counting sleeves in width). Gauge is not important for this pattern as long as you use a fine yarn with an appropriate size crochet hook.
