Information:
Minifryd No.3 is a light, oversized sweater knitted top-down in stockinette stitch. The upper part of the back piece is knitted first, and the neck is shaped by knitting short rows. The back piece is then knitted back and forth in stockinette stitch, and the stitches are finally put on hold. Stitches are picked up at each end of the cast-on edge to form the shoulders. Increases are knitted on each shoulder before the shoulders meet at the center front to form the front piece. The front piece is knitted back and forth in stockinette stitch before the front and back pieces are joined on a circular needle under the armhole. The body is knitted in the round in stockinette stitch and finished with a slit on each side. The front and back pieces at the bottom of the body are then knitted separately in rib. Stitches are picked up along the armhole, and the sleeves are knitted in the round in stockinette stitch on circular or double-pointed needles, with decreases evenly spaced to form a narrower sleeve. Finally, stitches are picked up around the neck opening. The neck is knitted in rib and then folded double and sewn/knitted to the inside.
