This is one of my favorite hats to make and wear. The knit/felt combination gives structure to this beanie while still keeping that casual, minimalist look. It’s definitely a one-of-a-kind hat. Unique and simple, you’ll be making these hats for everyone you know!

This pattern is for one-size-fits-all, but if you know your measurements you can always add or subtract a few stitches. Worked in the round, but can be worked flat if you don’t mind sewing seams.

MATERIALS:

  • US size 10.5 dpns
  • A bulky wool good for felting (I like to use Cascade Ecological Wool)
  • Darning needle
  • Hot water
  • Soap (shampoo, dish soap, something mild in liquid form)
  • A sink
