This sweet little hanging basket, was designed for rather large selection of baby plants . . and will fit small pots up to 15cm (6”) diameter :) These baskets are also great for keeping precious little treasures such as Jewels, buttons, stitch markers in and can make a pretty display feature :)

Finished Measurements: the basket will have between a 21-22cm diameter (measured round the outside), and can be adapted to the desired height. When hanging it measures approx 52cm (which can also be adapted)

You will need

Yarn: Bulky weight or yarns held double or triple to make the equivalent. (Fingering weight held triple, DK held double. You can also use even thicker wool (or even strips of upcycled jersey).

Yardage: This will depends on wether you use Bulky or lighter weights held together. The finished weight of a basket averages at 27g. This is approx 98 metres (106 yards) fingering, 65 metres (71yards) DK, or 34 metres (37 yards) Bulky,

Hooks used: 4.5mm, 4mm, 2.5mm.
