CROCHET MINION PATTERN

Hi everyone!

I want to introducē you with my newest pattern I have made it this summer – it is Minion from „Despicable Me 2”. He is cute, yellow creature that have two eyes, he is one of the most notable characters in the film. Minion loves bananas and apples. He also enjoy fine arts and find anything having to do with butts extremaly funny. There are few things this little guy do not find funny. He loves trying new things. He also loves spitting, frog legs, bunnies and building things.

The Minion Crochet pattern consist of text description and lot of pictures. This is a Crochet Pattern NOT a finished toy. If you like to buy finished toy please contact me.

The pattern is written step by step so it is easy to follow instruction.

You must have a basic understanding on how to crochet because there are not instructions on how to crochet in this pattern. All you really need to know is how to whip stitch :)

You will need:
 Cotton thread: yellow, blue, grey and black
I used crochet thread „Alize Diva” (silk effect)
 Hook size: 1,75 mm
 2 brown safety eyes with the diameter 12 mm
 Piece of white, black and blue felt
 PET Plastic sheet 0,5 mm (You can use plastic from plastic bottles like Coca-Cola)
 22 grey, round beads with diameter 2-3 mm
 Polyester fiberfill for stuffing
 Piece of wire - about 30 centimetres
 4 black buttons with diameter 11 mm
 Scissors
 Stitch marker
 Needle for sewing
 …and of course a good mood! 

Used abbreviations:

ch – chain
sc – single crochet
increase – work two single crochet in the same stitch from the row below
decrease – single crochet the next two stitches togeather
sl – slip stitch
turn – turn the work and crochet to the oppossite side

Pattern notes:

 You can use a different hook, depending what size you want the Minion to be.
 Use a stitch marker to mark the beginning of each round. Move the marker up each time you start a new round.
 Do not join at the end of each round; Most of the rounds are worked in continuous spirals.
 Numbers in brackets () means how much stitches you have in each round.

Finished toy size ~ Lengths 32 cm/12,6 in, width 13 cm/ 5,1 in. It works well in any type of thread, the size of finished toy depends on the thread and crochet hook you use.
