The minion pattern was designed to teach primary age children to knit. Its quicker and more interesting than a scarf and apart from changing colours and some k2tog stitches near the end it is a very simple pattern to follow.

The eye is crocheted, however, it is simple enough to replace the crocheted eye with one or two safety eyes.
