Minion Beanie
This pattern is worked in continuous rounds. There is no slip stitching to join, or chaining up, just keep working around the circle. Make sure to mark the first or last stitch of each round so you know where to stop.

Worsted Weight Yarn (#4), I used:

Small amounts of Red Heart Super Saver
black
white
Scraps of medium grey
5.5 mm (I-9) crochet hook, or hook needed to obtain gauge
Stitch markers
Scissors
Tapestry needle
Abbreviations – US crochet terms
ch – chain stitch
sc – single crochet
hdc – half double crochet
hdc dec – half double crochet decrease – yarn over, insert hook into 1st st, pull up a loop. Yarn over and insert hook into next st and pull up a loop. Yarn over and pull through all loops.
dc – double crochet
sl. st. - slip stitch
Gauge: 13 hdc = 4”/10 cm
11 rows = 4”/10 cm

0-3 Months: Fits 14” circumference, 5.5” height
3-6 Months: Fits 16” circumference, 5.75” height
6-12 Months: Fits 18” circumference, 7.25” height
1-3 Years: Fits 19” circumference, 7.5” height
3-10 Years Fits 20” circumference, 8” height
