It’s being a happy summer for the lovers of animation movies. Monsters University and the second part of Despicable Me have been released, and at the end of August will be Epic too. When I saw the Gru trailer I couldn’t avoid thinking about the minions: how cute they are! I wanted to make a few, but I didn’t find any patterns I like. So I made this one.
With this pattern, you will able to crochet the two-eyed minion you can see in the pictures. But, if you change it a little, you can make the one-eyed too. You just have to add about 4-5 yellow rows (the ones with 30 sc) and make the eye a little bigger (increase all the sc in the second row and then keep on following the pattern).
Both minions have a 6mm safety eye, but you can embroider with black yarn or use a bead.
