Minion Slippers
Please take the time to read the instructions and the pattern from top to bottom, it could save you some time.
The rows are closed with a slip stitch - I will not be writing that at each and every row – and ch2 is not the first DC, it does not count. The role of the ch2 at the beginning of each row is to provide for a thicker sole, without holes.
You will begin your new row in the same stitch you slip stitched to close the previous row.
In the pictures you will see how I worked a minion slippers for my size, 37-38 EU, but at the end I will provide instructions for other sizes: 35, 36, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43 and 44.
The pattern is written in American crochet terms.
For the slippers I used a 5mm crochet hook and DK acrylic yarn, Red Heart Detroit in 2 strands of yarn. You can use whatever type of yarn you can find at your local store, as long as it’s thick enough for the 5 mm hook.
For the eyes I used a 3 mm hook and black, white and grey cotton - Catania from Schachenmayr, for example. But you can also use DK acrylic yarn in just one strand or any type of yarn that is recommended for the 3 mm hook.
If you need more help in working this project, please contact me, I will do my best to answer as fast as I can.
