Minnehaha Mitts
by Eliz Iverson
These mittens were created to withstand some serious cold. Each mitten is knit as two separate mittens, and one fits inside the other. The result is a double layer of insulation that keeps tiny hands toasty warm.
Knit with wool, they hold up well to snow and keep their insulating properties even when the outer layer gets wet. We’ve tested these in subzero (Fahrenheit) temps and they do really well. Minnesota toddler tested and approved.
