Minnesota Mitten-glove
by woolcrazy
Minnesota Mittens
The designer did not recommend any particular yarn. She recommended a worsted weight wool, and gave the amount as 4 1/2 ounces (127.5 g). No row gauge is given; the pattern is written using length measurements rather than row counts.
Gauge is measured over tvåändsstickning, or two-end knitting. Using either two different balls of yarn, or the same ball and knitting from both ends, alternate between the two yarns every stitch.
From the book description: Minnesota mittens combine the flexibility of gloves with warmth of mittens for the best of two worlds. Tvåändsstickning adds warmth.
