The Minou Top is an elegant and feminine summer top with beautifully alternating Half Fisherman’s Rib and cable stitch. The asymmetric broad straps will cover everything beneath. The Minou Top will be worked top-down without sewing, starting with the four straps which will be knitted in rows until everything is connected to be knitted in the round. The i-cord edge at straps and body gives the top an elegant finish. The Minou Top has a flowing fit where the flexible Half Fisherman’s rib provides the necessary ease for each body type. The unworn and unstretched measurements of the top are therefore more narrow than the worn bust circumference. While keeping the different sizes as close to the original design (size 2) as possible, due to inherent properties of the pattern minimal differences between the sizes are influencing the final result, e.g. a higher neckline, broader straps and/or broader armholes, respectively. The Minou Top has a negative ease of -3 to -13 cm. The given circumference is referring to the measurements of the finished top. In the pictures the person is wearing the top in size 2 with a negative ease of -7 cm and a bust circumference of 89 cm.

Das Minou Top ist ein elegantes, feminines Sommertop, welches durch sein abwechselndes Halbpatent und Zopfmuster direkt ins Auge fällt. Durch die breiten, asymmetrischen Träger kann ein BH ganz entspannt und unsichtbar darunter getragen werden. Das Minou Top wird nahtlos von oben nach unten gestrickt, sodass die Länge individuell angepasst werden kann. Zunächst werden die Träger einzeln in Reihen gearbeitet, bevor diese dann zusammen in der Runde gestrickt werden. Der i-Cord Rand an Trägern und Körper verleiht dem Top anschließend noch einen edlen Abschluss. Das Top sitzt an dem weitesten Punkt körpernah, das dehnbare Halbpatent passt sich dabei deiner Körperform individuell an, wodurch die ungetragenen und ungedehnten Maße des Tops schmaler sind als die getragene Oberweite. Während die Unterschiede zwischen den verschiedenen Größen so klein wie möglich gehalten wurden, gibt es aufgrund der Eigenschaften des Strickmusters teilweise Abweichungen zum Originaldesign (Größe 2), z.B. ein höherer Ausschnitt, breitere Träger, und/oder breitere Armausschnitte. Arbeitsschritte für den optionalen hohen Rückenausschnitt sind ebenfalls angegeben.
