Especially for the green tea lovers among us this “No-yarn-left behind-project to celebrate the coming Spring! This Tea Cup Cosy comes in four flavours:

• Pure Mint
• Mint Lemon
• Mint Flowers
• Mint Lemon and Rose Hip

It is an ideal project for your yarn scraps, weighing only 10 g each, the cosy’s only take 30 m/32yd per piece in Sport Weight. Just some happy knitting, no need for shaping, because the lower edge is ribbed and the upper edge is performed with an I-Cord bind off.

Circumference 19 cm/7.4 in.
Height 9.5 cm/3.7 in.

Skill
Intermediate: this pattern involves working in the round and stranded colourwork.

Yarn
Sport Weight, Seehawer Naturfasern, Okotex Std 100, 80% wool/20% Ramee, 300 m/100g (328 yds/100g). Colours: off white, middle green, other colours come from all kinds of left over yarn.

Needles
3 mm (US 3) needles, DPNs or longer circular needle when using magic loop.

Gauge
31 st x 38 rounds = 10 x 10 cm (4x4 in) in stockinette colourwork after blocking.

Materials
Stitch marker, tapestry needle.
