Mirage is a round-yoke, top-down stranded sweater pattern for showing off the craziest color combinations. The bottom and the sleeves are plain, but I strongly recommend to add stranded band with color transition to the sleeves; or, for the most adventurous knitters - to one sleeve only, or asymmetrically (or even using different colors for different sleeves).

Gauge: - approximately 24 stitches and 30 rows = 10cm.
Materials: For sizes 0, A, (B, C, D, E, F, G):
You will need fingering-weight yarn in the following amount (MC / three contrasting colors, total amount; divide by 3 for each color):
1000/200, 1200/220, (1300/235, 1400/250, 1500/ 265, 1600/ 280, 1700/295, 1800/310) meters.
You can also use DK- or light DK yarn, but you will probably need to go down a size; check your gauge first.
You will also need some scrap yarn for the sleeve sts, a tapestry needle, a few stitch markers, and circular needles:

  • shorter 3.5mm needles for the neckband
  • longer 4 mm needles for the main part
